The following ideas are great ways to integrate students into real-world experiences that will benefit the community:

Ski Hills/Parks

1. Volunteer picking up sticks, deadfall, and invasive species at local ski hills or parks in preparation for the ski or mountain bike season.
2. Have students help out at a local gear swap. They can set up stands, place equipment, and direct people where they can go and what to do.

Wildlife/Ecosystem Preservation & Sustainability

1. Paint Yellow Fish at Storm Drains around the community. Have a QR code for people to read up on more information on this initiative.
2. Creating Actions Plans and Writing Letters to the local government about wildlife safety/preservation.
   1. Place more bear bins around community.
      1. Welding students can create their own bearbins.
   2. Where to put bird feeders.
   3. Designing compost program.
3. "Leave No Trace" Signs on trail heads, parks, towns and cities.
4. Reflective Hazard Signs to place on local highways where there is high animal crossing traffic.
5. Trail Maps for trail heads.
